Boston Autumn

More from Boston, this is Sunset behind the Bunker Hill Bridge. It was a great sight, and if I looked behind me from the spot I took this picture, I'd see the full moon rising over the boats in the harbor from the last set of pictures I posted.

A scene of fall from the middle of Boston Common.

The first signs of the season we saw outside the city on a steep hill. We had to stop.

City nights

These are from my recent trip to New York, walking from Brooklyn over the bridge into Manhattan. It's an awesome experience, so if you like these pictures, you should go try it out!

This is actually from Boston, moonrise over a shipyard on the Charles River.

Sunsets & night in big cities & small

It's been a while so I had to add a few things here. While driving around town the other day, I noticed a beautiful sunset sky, so I found this place by Union Lake that was a perfect place to enjoy a a great view.

I took a trip to Philly and the vicinity last week. This bridge is in a nice park just a few minutes outside of the city.

Stars & Power lines

This picture was taken at night on Union Road. The stars were out to play, so i think it came out really good. It's a little dark, but this is the best one I got. (PS - Click it to make it bigger and it looks better)

Casino on the River

We went to Atlantic City last night. This is probably one of favorite shots from the 322 bridge. We're still near the residential area but you can see the lights leading to the Borgata in the background.

Man vs. Wild

I took a walk around Millville today to find this going on at a place where my grandfather used to take me for walks. It used to be very wooded hills, now it's open and flat. All in the name of making Millville a nicer place to visit I guess.

Treads that compact memories of walks and talks into the ground to make way for future walks and talks.

Trails

The other day Ryan and I took a trip to the Wissahickon park on the other side of Philadelphia to find some sights that make it hard to believe we're so close to the big city. This was the view from the center of a beautiful, large stream.

Underneath the same bridge.

This rocky path welcomed us away from the traffic of I-76 and into the woods.

Nature & the city

I always try to take pictures like this, but it's hard to get small creatures to cooperate usually. I guess the butterflies in Philadelphia aren't as flighty as the ones around here. Anyway, this was taken on Spring Garden Street in Philly, believe it or not.

I like this picture a lot. These flowers were just growing out on the sidewalk, unbothered by pedestrian traffic. And with a good view of the skyline, how could I resist?
